Just wow. This is one of the most famous apologies of all time.
Another funny situation was the Apology Michael Bloomberg gave to Dr. Robert Atkins widow after jokes about his weight. Even offered her a steak dinner. LAWL!

My question is, should these people feel bad for GETTING CAUGHT? These apologies are probably impure and only given up because of their status as a public figure.
